YOUR DATA, YOUR BUSINESS
Privacy Policy
We collect the least we can, we never sell it, and the customer records inside your Unbound Solutions CRM live on your server — not ours.
Last updated · July 4, 2026
The short version
- We never sell your personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone — ever.
- We collect only what we need to issue and verify your license: your name, company name, business address, and email.
- We may email existing customers about upgrades or new features. You can opt out anytime.
- The customer and job data you keep inside Unbound Solutions CRM is on your own server. We can’t see it and we don’t collect it.
01Our privacy promise
Drathos Solutions (“Unbound Solutions CRM,” “we,” “us”) builds a CRM you buy once and host yourself. Our business model is simple — you pay for a license, not with your data. This Privacy Policy explains what limited personal information we collect as the software vendor, why, and the choices you have.
02Scope: what this covers
This policy covers personal information we handle as the vendor, namely:
- information from visitors to our marketing website;
- information from people who start a trial or purchase a license; and
- the license and verification data our licensing service processes.
It does not cover your CRM contents
This policy does not cover the customer records, contacts, and jobs you store inside your self-hosted Unbound Solutions CRM instance. That data is controlled by you on your own infrastructure — see Section 7.
03Information we collect
License & purchaser information
When you buy a license or start a trial, we collect your name, company name, business mailing address, and email address. For purchases, we also keep a record of the license issued, the states covered, and your order/receipt.
Demo request information
When you request a demo, we collect your company name, contact name, work email, phone number, timezone, and the 2-3 meeting times you propose. Your submission — including the IP address it comes from — is sent to and stored by our licensing service, which uses it to schedule the demo and to prevent abuse, such as capping how many requests can come from one IP address per day and detecting duplicate or repeated requests.
Trial & anti-abuse information
Trials are granted by us at our discretion, typically after a sales demo, and are not available through self-service checkout. When a trial is granted, identity details you provide may be used to check for duplicate or repeated requests from the same business, email, or address.
Payment information
Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card number — the processor handles card data under its own PCI-compliant terms. We retain the resulting transaction record (amount, date, and a payment reference) for accounting and refunds.
License-verification data
While the Software runs, it periodically confirms your license with our licensing service. That check processes your license identifier, an instance identifier, the software version, and timestamps. It does not include the business data inside your instance.
Website & technical data
Our website keeps minimal server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking networks on our site.
04How we use it
- to issue, activate, verify, and support your license;
- to prevent trial abuse, fraud, and misuse;
- to process your purchase, refunds, and required tax/accounting records;
- to respond to your questions and provide support;
- to occasionally tell existing customers and trial users about upgrades, additional states, or new features (an upsell) — never to unrelated third parties, and always with an easy way to opt out; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
05What we never do
- We never sell your personal data — for money or any other valuable consideration.
- We never rent or trade it, and we never share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We never provide it to data brokers or advertising/targeting networks.
- We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
07Your self-hosted CRM data
Unbound Solutions CRM runs on your own server. The contacts, customers, jobs, documents, and storm records you create and store in the Software stay on your infrastructure. We do not have access to that data, we do not collect it, and we do not back it up. You are the controller of that information and are responsible for its security and for complying with any laws that apply to the data you collect from your own customers.
08How long we keep it
We keep license and purchaser information for as long as your license is active and as needed to verify it, plus the period required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Trial information is kept for a limited period sufficient to run the trial and prevent abuse, after which it is deleted or de-identified. If you ask us to delete your information while your license is active, note that we must retain the minimal identifiers needed to keep verifying your license.
09Your rights & choices
Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of marketing. Because we hold so little and never sell it, we aim to honor reasonable requests simply. To make a request, email privacy@ubsolutionscrm.com. We may need to verify your identity, and some data must be retained as described in Section 8.
10Marketing emails
Any marketing email we send goes only to existing customers or trial users, and every one includes an unsubscribe link. Transactional messages — receipts, license keys, security and license-verification notices, and support replies — are not marketing and are sent as part of providing the Services.
11Security
We protect the limited data we hold using encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of sensitive values at rest, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit how much of it exists in the first place.
13State privacy rights
Some U.S. states give residents specific privacy rights. The FloridaDigital Bill of Rights imposes “controller” obligations only on very large companies (generally those with more than $1 billion in global revenue), a threshold we do not meet, so those specific obligations do not apply to us. Even so, we voluntarily follow its core principle and the equivalent principles of laws like California’s: we do not sell your personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we honor access, correction, deletion, and opt-out requests as described above.
14Children
Unbound Solutions CRM is a business product intended for use by adults in a commercial context. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
15Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version. Material changes will be made clear. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
